IMA sent two athletes to the USAT Nationals, Jaylee Sowders and Ronald Mosley. Sowders got to the quarterfinals this year but was defeated by a current national team member. Mosley, appearing in his first nationals, fought a tough battle, but unfortunately, he fell a little short.
Sowders also competed in the AAU Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She fought a tough battle, but lost to the eventual silver medalist.
Our elite competition team has combined with NexGen Elite Competition Team for the past year, and as a whole, NexGen Elite earned the following medals and accolades:2 Gold
1 Silver
We landed one USA Taekwondo Team member, qualified one USA Taekwondo Senor Black Belt for team trials and qualified one cadet for AAU National Team Trials.
We had many fighters reaching quarterfinals, narrowly missing the medal rounds.
All fighters gave it their all and are back training hard for the next competition. We hope that will be the Costa Rica Open in September, but we'll need some sponsors to make that happen. If interested, please reach out to Integrity Martial Arts through our contact page.
